Thee final project! We are here! You probably will see a lot of exclamation points in this blog due to my excitement and feeling proud of not only what I did, but what I have learned!
The hurricane that is JavaScript. I began this project thinking about my next steps in life. Remember when Facebook was only for college students. Well, I felt like that was quite appropiate for a code bootcamp student who is about to graduate in a month.
This project was a fulfilling experience. Rails is like the fairy god mother of ruby and my project is Cinderella. I was impressed with a couple of things from the rails g capabilities to routes and the dreadful Google Oauth.
It was a journey getting through this project. This project was inspired by my sister who is insistent on buying things only from black owned businesses. I was online one day helping her find nail polishes by black own businesses and it took almost an HOUR! We found a website that was supposed to show us all black own businesses, but it’s functionality wasn’t the greatest.
